Mr. and Mrs. D'Andrea - Real Weddings

Last weekend Bride to Bridesmaids had the pleasure of coordinating the wedding of Mark and Danielle D'Andrea at the Estancia Hotel and Spa in La Jolla, Ca.
Danielle and Mark had an amazing wedding celebration. Their day was perfect in every sense of the word. Their colors were green, purple and white, an exquisite combination of colors. Their theme was Manzanita branches and their monogram which was highlighted on their wedding invitations, the wedding programs, the menus and the dance floor.

The first wedding professional I would like to highlight is Danielle and Mark's photographer, Paul Barnett, barnettphoto.com, 619.980.6204, he provided us all of the fabulous pictures below. I know Danielle, Mark and their wedding party enjoyed Paul's professionalism and fun personality!

Here is the wedding day love story of Mr. and Mrs. D'Andrea!

The morning started at 8am when Danielle and her beautiful bridesmaids sat down with Ashley Richards to get their hair and make-up done. The morning was very relaxed and enjoyable as everyone was anticipating the big day. Danielle had five bridesmaids. She allowed each bridesmaid to pick out their own dress. Her only conditions were that the dress be black and tailored at the knees. I absolutely love how this idea turned out. I think Danielle's bridesmaids did an amazing job picking out classy, stylish and fun little black dresses. Just beautiful...

At noon the set up began. Bride to Bridesmaids was on site and ready to go with wedding plans, blueprints and prepared notes to insure Danielle and Mark’s wedding plans and ideas came to fruition. We worked with a very talented florist, Hannah Sampson, who brought in the most amazing ceremony bouquets, center pieces, bridal bouquets, escort card display box, head table decorations and much, much more.
Each chair was covered with linens by Dreams Do Come True. Danielle and Mark picked out white chair covers with green sashes which coordinated with the green menu cards and place cards; which were lemons with purple cards noted with the guests name on it in silver calligraphy.
Here are the escort cards; purple paper with silver calligraphy in green grass.

Here you can see the consistent theme of Manzanita branches and the green pop of color.
The Manzanita branches...how did Danielle and Mark pick this as their theme? This is a cute story... After they got engaged her dad promised her that he would make the arch for her ceremony. So last winter her dad, mom and grandma all went to the mountains to collect Manzanita branches. Mom, dad and grandma hiked up the mountain and back down strapping the branches to their backs until they reached their destination. They collected enough to make her arch and the center pieces. What a cute, memorable story Danielle and Mark will always remember! The head table was lined with floating candles. They had three sizes, small, medium and large alternating as they cascaded.
To add a fun flare of color in the room, Tim Altbaum and his team designed the gobo lighting on the dance floor and the uplighting around the room. After everything was in place just as the Bride and Groom wanted it was time to start the ceremony. Tim Altbaum and his team provided the wedding music. Here is a great picture of the arch Danielle's dad made. Isn't it amazing? And he only used one nail... just one! Absolutely breath taking!

Husband and Wife!

Now it was time to celebrate! Immediately after the ceremony Danielle, Mark and the wedding party joined their guests at the cocktail hour. After having the opportunity to visit with theirs guests they snuck away for a few more pictures.

After the pictures were finished it was time to start the reception.

DJ Effren did an amazing job keeping the party alive with great music.
Congratulations Danielle and Mark! We wish you the best and a lifetime of happiness!
