If you follow my blog you know that a few weeks ago I embarked on a journey to answer the question, "Can you look like a million bucks without spending a million". I had my girlfriends wedding coming up in La Jolla, Ca. I was super busy and did not have time to go shopping for a dress; I leaned on rent the runway.com to help me out. I rented a designer gown for $100. I crossed my fingers and hoped that all would be well. Throughout my journey anxiety of renting a dress subsided when I got my order confirmation, my dress in two sizes (they looked, smelt, and felt new), and the dress fit. To purchase this dress, which I would probably never wear again, is around $595. By renting the dress I only spent $100. Now that the wedding is over all I have to do is return the dress.
So, can you look like a million without spending a million... the answer, Yes! With rent the runway you can!

ReplyDeleteI understand that the idea is good. But still there remains a fantasy in every bride's mind to wear a new dress. But your idea is still rocking if one is planning a budget wedding, and I am sure most brides will agree that budget is an important factor.
